About

The screen is a vessel. Water rises through the hour and drains at the top of it, and notches on the wall count the hours. TIDE reads time as something filling and emptying rather than something pointed at. Water rises from the bottom of the dial through the hour and drains at the top of it. Twelve notches down the left wall fill one by one, so seven filled notches with the water two thirds up reads as twenty to eight. A small buoy rides the waterline and drifts with your heart rate, and the water itself lightens as Body Battery drains. For the first minutes after each drain, residual streaks mark the wall, so a nearly empty vessel never reads as a nearly full one. What the vessel holds is configurable: the minutes of the hour, the whole day from midnight to midnight, or your progress toward the step goal. It can fill or drain, whichever matches how you think about time passing. The always on frame is only the waterline and the lit notch column, a genuinely different drawing rather than a dimmed one. Settings are available directly on the watch through the face's own menu, and also in the Garmin Connect phone app under Connect IQ Apps, Watch Faces. Free, with no advertising and no data collection. SUPPORT This watch face is free, with no account, no subscription and no ads, and it stays that way.
