THE BACKGROUND IS A REAL PHOTOGRAPH A real photograph of the Mont Blanc massif sits behind everything — no cartoon mountain, no synthetic illustration. The classic alpine route is overlaid directly on the visible terrain, passing each refuge in geographic order: ① Bellevue (1801 m) — start of the route ② Refuge de Tête Rousse (3167 m) ③ Refuge du Goûter (3835 m) ④ Dôme du Goûter (4304 m) ⑤ Vallot bivouac (4362 m) — emergency shelter ⑥ Mont Blanc summit (4810 m) A solid orange line shows the part of the trail you have already covered today; a dashed line shows what is left. A glowing pulse marks your current position, interpolated smoothly between waypoints. When you complete your daily goal, you stand at the summit beside a gold marker and a red mountaineering flag. THREE CONFIGURABLE DATA FIELDS Three slots around the trail show whatever data you choose, each with a clean custom icon: Steps, Heart Rate, Calories, Distance, Floors Climbed, Altitude, Battery, Weather (temperature), Barometric Pressure (with rising / falling / stable trend), Body Battery, Stress. Independently selectable for top-left, top-right, and bottom positions. PROFESSIONAL TYPOGRAPHY Time and date are drawn with custom bitmap fonts ported from the well-known Just Duo IQ project, perfectly sized for every supported resolution. Each character has a 1-pixel dark outline so the time stays crisply readable against bright snow or dark forest in the background photo. OPTIONAL TRAIL LABELS Toggle trail-text labels (refuge names and altitudes) directly on the photo. Labels on: a fully annotated mountaineering map. Labels off: just the photo and a clean trail line — minimal and immersive. ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY Full AOD support. In always-on mode the photo fades to a clean black background showing only the date and time in your selected colors — minimum pixels lit, maximum battery life, with a built-in burn-in-protection mask that subtly shifts position every few minutes.
