About
VGLA Lite Slave is a multi-data display field designed to make efficient use of the limited screen space on Edge 130 and Edge 130 Plus.
A single Edge data-field area assigned to this app can be divided into 4, 6, or 8 cells. Each cell can be configured independently, and text size and labels automatically adjust to the available space.
The app can fill an entire data screen to show many metrics at once. It can also be used alongside VGLA Lite PD Analysis or PCH Alert Lite, with one app placed in each field of Edge’s two-field layout.
In v0.1.6, the app can calculate the following five metrics from power data received through a power meter paired with Edge as a standard power sensor:
• 30-second Average Power
• Normalized Power (NP)
• Intensity Factor (IF)
• Training Stress Score (TSS)
• Work (kJ)
IF and TSS use the configured FTP. If FTP is set to 0, IF and TSS are disabled and display “--”. NP, 30-second Average Power, and Work do not require FTP.
Calculations run only while the activity timer is running. Accumulation pauses when the timer is stopped. Resetting the activity also resets accumulated values such as NP, IF, TSS, and Work.

[Basic Use]
1. Install the app and add this data field to a data screen in the activity profile you use.
2. In the Connect IQ settings, select 4, 6, or 8 under Number of Cells.
3. Select the item to display in each Cell.
4. Enter your FTP if you want to use IF or TSS.
5. Pair the required sensors with Edge and start the activity.
[About Power Metrics]
30-second Average Power, NP, IF, TSS, and Work use power data from a power meter paired with Edge as a standard power sensor.
30-second Average Power, NP, IF, and TSS display “--” until the first 30 seconds of required power data have been collected.
The values calculated by this app are intended as real-time reference information. Results may differ from Garmin metrics or external analysis services because of differences in sampling, timer pauses, and the handling of missing data.
[Important Notes]
• This app is a data field. After installation, add it to a data screen in the activity profile you use.
• Power-related items require a power meter paired with Edge as a standard power sensor.
• Heart-rate and cadence items require compatible sensors or measurement data.
• Enter an appropriate FTP in the Connect IQ settings to use IF and TSS.
• NP, IF, TSS, 30-second Average Power, and Work calculated by this app are not added to the FIT file as custom Developer Fields.
• Configurations such as VGLA Lite PD Analysis that receive data directly from the power meter require the standard Edge power-sensor connection to be disabled.
• Power data is not shared between VGLA Lite PD Analysis and this app. When used with PD Analysis, NP, IF, TSS, 30-second Average Power, Work, Native Power, and Average Power are unavailable and display “--”.
• All displayed values are reference information intended to assist your ride. Always prioritize actual road conditions, traffic laws, and your own safety judgment.
