About

Planetarium - Carry the Solar System on your wrist. Planetarium turns your Garmin into a compact, readable miniature planetarium. It presents a live heliocentric view of the Solar System, with the Sun at the center and the planets arranged in real time for the current date and time. Designed for everyday use, Planetarium combines a distinctive astronomical look with practical watch face utility. Alongside the planetary layout, it displays the time and configurable side metrics, so it remains useful throughout the day while still feeling visually unique. The design focuses on clarity first. Orbits, labels, and planetary objects are styled to stay visually meaningful without overwhelming the essential information you want to read at a glance. The watch face also supports always-on display and includes customization options for layout, labels, typography, and data fields. How to use Planetarium Planetarium presents the Solar System as a simplified live heliocentric model. The Sun remains at the center, while the planets are shown along their orbital paths according to the current moment in time. This is not intended to be a detailed astronomy tool or a precision observation chart. Instead, it is a stylized and readable planetary view designed for quick daily use on the wrist. At a glance, it lets you see the relative arrangement of the planets in a way that is elegant, informative, and easy to interpret throughout the day. Settings and customization Planetarium includes a range of settings so you can adapt the watch face to your own reading style and visual preferences. You can customize: - time format - time, date, label, and data field sizes - side bar metrics - data fields - always-on display mode - planet labels - side bar accent color These options let you keep the watch face minimal and clean, or make it a bit richer in information depending on how you want to use it. First release and feedback This is the first public release of Planetarium. There may still be issues, edge cases, or device-specific quirks that only become visible in everyday use across different watches and settings. If you notice a bug, incorrect behavior, a layout problem, or anything that could be improved, please share your feedback. Early feedback is especially valuable and will help improve compatibility, polish, and future updates.
