About

My work will stay free of course, but if you would like to donate and support me: https://www.paypal.me/FlipStone ----------------- This is basically a copy of the widget version, but as I had a few requests creating an app out of it I decided to do so ;) Seems to work, but in case you run into any issues please let me know... This is a app which displays a compass using the internal sensor and the current time. After getting a GPS fix also shows the heading, altitude and speed. If a GPS fix is there pressing start, or touching the screen for touchscreen-watches, you will get information such as latitude and longitude, heading in degrees and radians. The units displayed depend on the global settings on the watch and not specific settings are possible or necessary in the widget. This widget was primarily made because I missed a similar one from the 735xt ;) Please note that this is one of the first real things I made for connectIQ and while I hope it all works, and I have tested it for the non 935-watches on the emulator, things might still be going wrong. Please let me know if this is the case... [Features] - Upon starting this widget it will at first show heading and compass using the internal sensor while waiting for a GPS fix as well as the current time * The compass will also show an offset in degrees from the nearest general direction (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW). - After a GPS fix is found this will be used for the following information: * Altitude (in meters or feet, depending on settings for the watch) * Speed (in km/h or mph, depending on settings for watch) * Speed and direction/offset are colored based on GPS signal (Green=good, orange=usable, red=bad/unavailable). In practise it's always green it seems though. * Touching the display or pressing start button will show another screen with the compass but also lat, long, rad and deg values. The compass will still be based on the internal sensor, so that it is displayed properly even when rotating the watch (while the heading will be based on the movement gotten from GPS).
