Watch the time bloom. On ROSES, every digit of the clock is a living rose. A shoot pushes out of the ground at the foot of the number and a thorny stem climbs, leaves unfurling at the nodes and a bud riding the growing tip — and as the stem finishes its digit, the bud opens into a full rose. Then it rests, breathing gently, until the minute turns. When it does, the old rose wilts the way a real one does — it dries from green through dusty rose to brown, its tip drawing back toward the root, shedding leaves and petals that tumble away — while the new shoot grows up through it. Nothing jumps, nothing flips. The time changes the way a garden changes. Choose the garden you want it to grow in: eleven backgrounds, from the soft procedural Night Garden through Midnight Blue, Emerald Vine, Violet Bloom, Crimson Rose, Amber Gold, Teal Garden, Frost White, Magenta Rose, Autumn Copper and Winter Ice. Then pick your rose: six colourways from deep Red Rose through Blush Pink, White Rose, Golden Yellow, Coral Peach and Lavender, plus a Bouquet mix where every digit is a different flower. Change any of it right on your wrist or from the Garmin Connect app. The date sits quietly up top, with battery and daily steps along the bottom and an optional small digital readout underneath — glance information, nothing more. ROSES runs on both bright AMOLED and classic MIP Garmin watches. On always-on AMOLED displays it drops to a clean, dim, burn-in-safe skeleton of the stems, so it is kind to your screen and your battery.
