Vitality - Today's Points
· v1.1.7
About
If you have problems, please use contact developer (PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IN THE MESSAGE IF YOU WANT A RESPONSE). Make sure you have updated to the latest version!
This data field displays the estimated points Vitality will award based on today's activity. The points displayed are based the max points earned from either the total step count for the day, or the number of calories burned in the active activity. This data field is based on a three tier points award system. The points awarded at each level and the steps and calories needed to reach each tier are configurable in Garmin Express or Garmin Connect Mobile. See https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/w/wiki/14/changing-your-app-settings-in-garmin-express-gcm-ciq-mobile-store for instructions to change the settings.
The default settings are per the table below.
Default Point levels
Max: 15 points
At least 300 Calories in the activity or at least 15,000 steps per day
Mid: 10
At least 200 Calories in the activity or at least 10,000 steps per day
Min: 5
At least 100 Calories in the activity or at least 5,000 steps per day
Note: This data field is not associated with Vitality and only provides an estimate on what Vitality might award. Vitality can also award points based maintaining HR above a certain level. This data field does not use that method and only provides an estimate of points earned based on steps or calories. Before using this data field, please be sure that the points awarded and thresholds are configured to match your program. If your program uses a different scheme, please use the developer link to let me know, and I will try to accommodate them.
