About

Monitor your jump height, neuromuscular readiness and explosive power with JumpRSI. JumpRSI is a high-performance diagnostic tool for Garmin watches designed to measure and track the jump height and Reactive Strength Index Modified (RSImod) during Countermovement Jumps (CMJ). Why RSImod? Jump height alone can hide fatigue through "sluggish" movement strategies. RSImod (Height / Time to Take-off) is highly sensitive to neuromuscular fatigue, often dropping significantly even when jump height remains stable. Key Features: • Precise Measurement: Uses the Flight Time (FT) method with optimized correction factors. • Autoregulation: Track 7-day trends to decide if you should push or pull back in training. • Best-Two Average: Automatically filters outliers from your 3-jump session. • Clean UI: Optimized for both round and square Garmin displays. Protocol for Accuracy: Calibrate (Stand still for 3s). Jump with hands on hips (to isolate lower body power). Perform 3 jumps; the app handles the rest. Disclaimer: This tool is intended for relative trend monitoring and has not been validated against lab-grade force plates. Performance may vary based on watch sensor noise.

What's new

feat: More robust and reliable RSImod detection by using active phase (braking and propulsion + correction factor for unweighing phase) fix: starts and stops sensor stream only when used.
