ALWAYS-ON, ULTRA-LOW POWER: in low-power mode the face lights only a few dim pixels on an otherwise black screen — off pixels cost an AMOLED display nothing, so the always-on view barely touches your battery, and the pattern shifts periodically to protect the panel from burn-in. Tape-machine instrument face: cream dial, orange minute needle, rotor-disk seconds, four data fields you set yourself.
