About

Running shoes age differently. As wear increases, their material properties change — and this shows up in your running mechanics and measurement data. Start for free: Your first shoe is permanently free — with no limit on the number of tests or usage time. If you want to manage multiple shoes, you can unlock them directly in the app with a one-time purchase of €2.99. ShoeTest helps you detect these changes in your running shoes early — with a standardized 3-minute test directly on your Garmin watch. For each pair of shoes, you build a personal reference. After five valid tests, ShoeTest compares every new measurement with your individual baseline. It analyzes heart rate, cadence, and heart-rate drift at a consistent pace. This lets you see whether your running behavior in a specific shoe has changed in a measurable way. How it works: - Choose your constant test pace. - Run for 90 seconds to stabilize. - Then hold the pace for 90 seconds. - ShoeTest analyzes your values automatically. Clear results instead of guesswork: - STABLE – everything is within the expected range - WATCH – slight deviation, test again soon - FLAGGED – repeated significant change For each shoe: - Individual baseline per shoe and pace - Test history with key metrics - Reminders for regular retests - Multilingual interface ShoeTest is designed for runners who do not want to judge their shoes by mileage alone, but by repeatable data under comparable conditions. Note: Valid tests require GPS reception and a heart-rate sensor. Note: Some watches were only available in the simulator.
