SUN&MOON Multiwatchface

About
A watch face built around the sun's path and the moon's phase.
24-HOUR RING IN TWILIGHT BANDS
The outer ring maps the whole day, midnight at the bottom and noon at the top, with the five levels of light calculated for your location:
night blue — full darkness
blue — astronomical twilight (sun 12° to 18° below the horizon)
indigo — nautical twilight (6° to 12°)
magenta — civil twilight (0° to 6°)
amber — golden hour (−4° to +6°, straddling sunrise)
yellow — full daylight
At a glance, you see how much light is left. In summer the bands widen, in winter they tighten: the face really does follow the season.
THE NEXT TWO PERIOD STARTS
Below the weather, a line permanently shows the sun's next two appointments, with a pictogram and the time. Every time displayed is the START of a period, never its end: start of civil twilight, start of golden hour, sunrise, full daylight, then in the evening golden hour, sunset, nautical twilight, astronomical twilight, and full darkness. The number of stars indicates the depth of the twilight: one for civil, two for nautical, three for astronomical. Golden hour is calculated at its true −4° boundary, so it begins before sunrise and actually lasts an hour. No more guessing when to reach for your headlamp.
SUN AND MOON ON THE RING
The current-time marker follows the light: a radiant yellow sun in full daylight, amber during golden hour. As soon as the sun drops below the horizon, the moon takes its place and appears at its real phase — thin crescents, quarters, gibbous, full and new moon.
