The "onlyTimer" you need
· v1.1.1
About
Interval training and plain countdowns. The remaining time fills
the screen, and two rings show where you are — one for the current
block, one for the whole session.
SET UP A TIMER IN YOUR BROWSER
https://novacat1973.github.io/onlyTimer/tools/onlyTimer-String-Builder.html
Click blocks together, name them, set the seconds, pick a colour.
Repeat groups are explicit, so a warm-up and cool-down run once no
matter how many rounds you add. Press Generate string, then Copy:
1. Garmin Connect -- Connect IQ Apps -- onlyTimer -- Settings
2. Paste into "Timer config string" and save
3. Sync — the timer appears in the list on your watch
Reusing a name replaces that timer. Separate several with a tilde.
ON THE WATCH
START/STOP start, or pause
BACK/LAP first press resets, second exits
UP (hold) open the timer list
DOWN / UP skip to the next or previous block
Pick a timer and it starts straight away. Quick timer sits at the
top of the menu for a plain countdown in two presses.
WHAT YOU SEE
Large custom digits that grow once you are under a minute. Blue
ring for the session, block-coloured ring for the current interval.
Block name and round counter, e.g. WORK 3/8 — warm-up and cool-down
never count as rounds. Session time left, heart rate, temperature,
24-hour clock. Heart rate and temperature switch on per timer.
SOUND
Mid beeps over the last three seconds of a block, then a high tone
entering work or a low tone entering rest — so going hard rises and
easing off falls. Every beep vibrates, and a per-timer option
alerts you even when the watch is muted.
RECORDING
Optional per timer: saves a FIT activity with a lap at every block,
so your splits match your intervals.
Permissions: FIT for the activity file, sensor history for heart
rate and temperature. Nothing leaves your watch.
What's new
--- Version 1.1.1 ---
Did some small bugfixes and removed the unit from the temperature.
--- Version 1.1.0 ---
Added temperature next to heart rate. In the web configurator you can select this shall be shown. If only one is selected it will be centered.
This might be interesting for Ice Bathing timers. Just configure a single block in the config string builder and you are ready to bath, keeping an eye on heart rate and water temperature. HAVE FUN.
