About

Dancing+ Dancing+ is a workout app designed specifically for dance fitness enthusiasts. Whether you're taking a Zumba class, freestyle dancing, or following a structured dance workout, Dancing+ tracks your session with the metrics that actually matter for dance — heart rate, active calories, and time. Why Dancing+? Most fitness apps are built for running, cycling, or gym workouts. Dancing+ focuses entirely on dance training, giving you a clean, distraction-free interface optimized for movement — no GPS clutter, no pace, no distance. Just the data that helps you understand your effort on the dance floor. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Features Song Counter Keep track of how many songs you've danced to during your session. Choose between two counting modes: Manual mode — press the UP button each time a new song starts. You're in control. Auto mode — set your average song duration and the counter advances automatically. Perfect for when you're too busy dancing to press buttons. How Song Tracking Works Each time you register a new song — either manually by pressing UP or automatically by the timer — Dancing+ records a lap in your activity file, so every song becomes a trackable interval in Garmin Connect with its own heart rate and duration. Important: the last song is always added automatically when you save. You don't need to press UP at the end of the last song — Dancing+ adds it for you when the workout is closed. So if you manually registered 3 songs during your session, your saved activity will contain 4 laps total: the 3 you marked plus the last one added on save. Heart Rate Zones A color-coded arc at the top of the screen shows your current HR zone in real time — from Zone 1 (blue, light effort) through Zone 5 (red, maximum effort). Your heart rate is displayed in the zone color so you always know your intensity at a glance. Active Calories Track active calories burned throughout your session. Displayed alongside your song count so you can see both effort and volume at once. Session Timer Clean, large duration display so you always know how long you've been moving. Current Time Always visible on the activity screen — no need to leave the app to check the time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before You Start Configure your session directly from the splash screen by pressing the DOWN button. Toggle the song counter on or off, switch between manual and auto counting modes, and set your average song duration — all before you even start recording. After Your Workout Your activity is saved as a Cardio workout and syncs to Garmin Connect, where you can review: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Total duration Heart rate graph and average Active calories burned Heart rate zones breakdown Individual song laps with HR and duration per song Save or Discard When you stop your workout, choose to save your session to Garmin Connect or discard it — no accidental saves. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Compatible Devices Garmin Forerunner 165 Garmin Forerunner 165 Music Designed for Movement Dancing+ was built with AMOLED displays in mind — deep blacks, vibrant colors, and a layout that's easy to read in a dimly lit dance studio or on a bright stage. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Turn every class into a tracked workout. Dance more. Know more. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dancing+ is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any dance fitness brand or organization.
