About

This is an easy-to-view and reliable watch face where battery life is the top priority. You won't find a watchface with all of this data that is as efficient in battery use as this one. There is a configuration menu in the watchface to configure light/dark mode and 12 hour/military time. The watch tracks battery use and the configuration menu gives the user the ability to view average battery percentage used per day since the last reset of the tracker. Battery percentage on the watchface is shown with 1 decimal place granularity (if your firmware supports it) for more detailed battery usage monitoring and being able to see smaller gains from solar charging. This watchface also shows the next sunrise or sunset event time (as long as the watch has some record of your current or last known location). Solar intensity is also displayed. Most widgets generally update several times per minute rather than every second. There is a new sleep/nap detection feature that will put your display into a low power mode when it detects your breathes per minute falling below a configurable value or if you have a sleep schedule configured in your Garmin user profile and the current time is within that time block. Low power mode will show just the time, but a wrist gesture will temporarily show the full display. I recommend looking at your sleep history in Garmin connect to find your typical respiration rate while sleeping and selecting that value in the watchface config menu so that nap detection is accurate for your biorythm. Please reach out to me if you find any problems or want to make suggestions for improvement. This version has had massive code efficiency updates to really squeeze out nearly every bit of battery conservation as well as a cool new feature built into the config menu where the user can see how much battery has been used on average per day. My tests have shown only 1.6 to 1.8% battery drain per day while using this watchface on a Garmin Fenix 7x Pro with a conservative watch configuration. (Data fields listed below): -Weekday/Date -Battery % to .1% granularity (.1's only work if your watch firmware supports it) -Time (12 or 24 hr. format) -Time seconds field (optional) -Solar Intensity (0-100%) -Pulse Beats Per Minute -Next Sunrise or Sunset Time -Total Accumulated Steps For the Day
