It's HiMARS O'clock
· v1.1.0
About
The free watchface, dedicated to the support of HiMARS for Ukraine, features a dynamic, procedurally generated military camouflage background. The procedural generation ensures that the camo pattern dynamically updates over time, providing a natural consistency across all devices. To further personalize your experience, tweak the watchface settings to create a one-of-a-kind camo masterpiece. This watchface is perfect for those who appreciate the beauty of nature and the power of technology, all while supporting a worthy cause.
Discover the perfect combination of functionality and aesthetics with this watchface. Never miss a beat with a variety of data fields and indicators. Customize the data fields to suit your preferences and needs.
Data Fields
1. Notifications Counter: Displays the number of unread notifications.
2. Distance Meter: Shows the distance walked today.
3. Weather: Shows the current weather and precipitation chance (available only on devices with Weather API support).
4. Date: Shows today's date (with day or month).
5. Battery: Shows the charge level.
6. Calories Burned: Shows the estimated number of calories burned today.
7. Heart Rate: Shows the current heart rate in beats per minute (available only on devices with heart rate sensor).
8. Active minutes: Minutes of moderate-to-vigorous activity today.
9. Barometer: Shows the current atmospheric pressure (available only on devices with barometer sensor).
10. Body Battery: Shows the current energy level of the body based on heart rate variability, stress, sleep, and activity data (available only on devices with Body Battery feature).
11. Altimeter: Shows the current altitude in meters or feet (available only on devices with altimeter sensor).
12. Steps: Shows the number of steps taken today.
Indicators
1. BT Indicator: Indicates whether Bluetooth is currently connected.
2. Alarms Indicator: Indicates whether alarms are currently enabled.
3. DND Mode Indicator: Indicates whether Do Not Disturb mode is currently enabled.
4. WiFi Indicator: Indicates whether WiFi is currently connected.
Settings
1. Modifier Offset: A numeric value between -10,000,000 and 10,000,000, which modifies the generator algorithm to create a unique pattern.
2. Generation Interval*: Determines how frequently new pattern variations are generated.
3. Color Density: A value between 1 and 9 that sets the density/spread of the two pattern colors separately, providing control over the appearance of each color.
4. Theme: Select from two available themes, "NatureBlend" and "SeaShadow", to modify the overall visual style of the background.
5. Background Update Mode: Choose between two modes for the pattern change updates:
- Subtle Evolution: Generates only slight differences between iterations, resulting in gradual pattern changes regardless of the interval selected.
- Interval-Based Advancement: Proceeds all iterations internally on each update, providing more distinct pattern changes with each update, depending on the selected interval.
6. Custom Data Fields: Choose up to 5 data fields from the Data Fields section to display on your watchface.
7. Hide HiMARS: Hide HiMARS logo for a minimalistic experience.
*Note
The Generation Interval is a minimum update interval, which means that background updates will be skipped while the watch is in "low power mode" to reduce power consumption. The next update will occur when you wake up the watch, either by gesture or by watch controls.

What's new
v1.1.0:
- Improved accuracy of data field values for heart rate, pressure, altitude and body battery.
- Heart rate data now relies only on current value without history.
- Pressure data now reads current mean sea level pressure value and uses history as a fallback data.
- Altitude data now filters older history data for more accurate readings.
- Body battery data now validates the data and invalidates it if the watch is not worn.
- Fixed some minor bugs and improved stability.
v1.0.4:
- Bugfixes: Addressed an issue with the Heart Rate data display when the watch is not being worn.
v1.0.3:
- Weather Data Field Optimization: The weather data field now displays long values more efficiently, avoiding overlapping or truncating issues.
- Weather Data Field Stub Improvement: The weather data field stub, which appears on unsupported devices or when weather data is unavailable, now has a more consistent look.
v1.0.2:
- Bugfixes: Fix some minor bugs that affected the display of the data fields and the barometer values. Draw the icon on the correct position for the data fields on the initial draw and the calibrated barometer values on the devices that support it.
v1.0.1:
- New devices support: Run the watchface on 10 new devices, including the D2 Mach 1, the Epix 2 series, the Forerunner 255 Music, the Forerunner 265 and 265 Solar, the Forerunner 965, and the Venu 3S. Enjoy the full functionality and compatibility of the watchface on these devices.
- Features: Customize the data fields on the watchface screen. Select the data fields that you want to see from a variety of options, including the newly added ones, such as date and month, calories burned, heart rate, active minutes, barometer, body battery, altimeter, and steps. To access this option, go to the watchface settings and select the data fields option.
- Improvements: Save power and memory with this update. Benefit from the background pattern caching, which reduces the power and memory consumption of the watchface, especially with longer update interval settings. Notice some minor visual improvements to the data fields.
Note: Some data fields may not be supported on all devices. For example, weather, body battery, and barometer data fields require specific sensors or features that may not be available on some devices. Please check your device specifications and compatibility before selecting these data fields.
