About

Skyline - Wellington Trails Watch Face Prefer a clean, beautiful face without the clutter? Skyline keeps it calm and simple — only the info you choose, exactly when you want it. Off the trails for now, I built Skyline to keep my favourite runs close — right on my wrist. Whether you're sidelined or just love Wellington's ridgelines, this one's for you. ═══ MY FAVOURITE WELLINGTON TRAILS ═══ 10 real trail elevation profiles from actual GPX data: Skyline Trail (the classic Karori to Khandallah ridgeline) • Makara Peak • Fenceline & Polhill • Te Ahumairangi (Tinakori Hill) • TMR • Early Bird • K-Park • Mt Kaukau • Tippy ═══ DYNAMIC SKY MODES ═══ TIME OF DAY → Your skyline shifts from dawn to dusk with real sunrise/sunset times, complete with sun and moon tracking across the sky SOLID COLORS → 14 color options because some days you just want pink mountains ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY → Battery-friendly low-power mode for when you need it ═══ THE USEFUL STUFF ═══ Big time display (the main event) • Optional Heart rate with custom alerts that gently pulse when you're going over your threshold • Optional Battery indicator that politely stays hidden until you need it • Optional Stress bars (we all have those days) ═══ YOUR LITTLE MOUNTAIN EXPLORER ═══ See that tiny figure on the ridge? That's you! Configure it to represent Time Progress (your journey through the day), Step Progress (marching toward that daily goal), or Body Battery (how much gas you've got left). ═══ HIDDEN SKYLINE DETAILS ═══ Some trail profile have their own character. Look closely and you might spot: a tiny wind turbine spinning on Fenceline, a mini tower on Mt Kaukau, a weathered signpost pointing to distant places on Makara Peak, small mountain huts nestled along the TMR route, or a lone sheep wandering the Skyline Trail ridgeline. These little details appear when "Skyline Extras" is enabled in settings. ═══ SKYLINE RUNNER: THE WORLD'S MOST FRUSTRATING WATCH FACE MINI-GAME ═══ Reach your step goal? Reward yourself with Skyline Runner — a proper AOD-controlled endless runner where you dodge graves and catch medals. It's terrible. You'll love it. (AMOLED AOD capable devices only) ═══ TOUCH CONTROLS ═══ Long Tap the Skyline (top area) → Cycle through all 10 trail profiles Long Tap the Time (center) → Access mini-game mode (AMOLED AOD devices only, step goal required) ═══ CUSTOMISE EVERYTHING ═══ Battery Display Threshold • Heart Rate Alerts (80-200 BPM with visual alerts) • Heart Rate Display • Default Colors • Profile Selection • Position Indicator • Stress Display • Skyline Extras (show/hide fun details on each trail) Configure on your watch (if supported) or through Garmin Connect IQ on your phone. Built with love (and nostalgia) for Wellington's trails. Enjoy.
