Lap Counter

If you have a MyLaps transponder, this app will show your speed skating information on tracks with a MyLaps system. Next to the number of laps, last laptime, best laptime, speed and detailled lap information will be shown. Heart rate will be indicated including heart rate zones and correlation with lap times. Via VinkSite.com an in-depth analysis of all your rides can be made. Please make sure your settings in MyLaps are not set on "private". At installation, you need to provide your own MyLaps transponder code. With your smartphone: - via Garmin Connect IQ app (please note: == with IQ ==, as of Oct 2025 this is a new app) - click on your Garmin gear/watch (at bottom right of screen) - click on "My device apps" - click on "RondenTeller" / "Lap Counter" - click on "Settings" - fill in your own transponder code With laptop/PC: - via Garmin Express - click on your Garmin gear/watch - click on "IQ apps" - click on the three dots "..." just after "RondenTeller" - fill in your own transponder code Note: during skating you need to wear your smartphone and have the Garmin Connect app active; in this way your Garmin gear/watch can collect the necessary data from internet. After the app is started, you do not need to set anything else. You can walk through the screens with the up / down arrows. To close the app, press the start / stop button. If you skated, the app will ask if you want to save the heartbeat data. If you select "yes", this info is saved as an activity. It is possible to set the background color: white or black. Go to the clock time menu and press the "back" button to change color. The choice is saved. If you do not have a MyLaps transponder then this app unfortunately is useless. This file contains all available data: (total) distance, (average) speed, laps with lap times, and heart rate.
