About

Power Napp - A Simple Power Nap Timer app Set your preferred nap type "short", "medium", "long" or even "extra" and start napping with a simple action. A set of vibrations will wake you up. — Short - 15 to 20 minutes of napping, this is by far the most common Nap and considered "the" Power Nap. Reset the system and provide a boost of alertness and increased motor performance. — Medium - 20-minute power nap, also called the stage 2 nap. Good for alertness and motor learning skills like typing and playing the piano. — Long - Slow-wave sleep, napping for approximately 30 to 60 minutes. Good for decision-making skills, such as memorising vocabulary or recalling directions. — Extra - Extra gets into Rapid eye movement or REM sleep, usually 60 to 90 minutes. Plays a key role in making new connections in the brain and solving creative problems. Don't forget to rate how you feel after the nap for finding which time works best for you. My Week — Check how many naps you had in the current week. — Swipe/press up/down to access the "My Week" view. — How you felt after the nap will be colour-coded in the nap plot bars. — Rested (Blue), Energised (Red), Tired (Yellow), Groggy (Green), Unrated (White). — Keep track of your napping habits and aim for consistency. — Compare with previous weeks (under development). Under development: Nap Reminder — When active, the app will remind you to nap when you reach the configured time. — Note: The best time for a nap is generally about 7 hours after waking (to be more precise, note your afternoon mood and energy levels for a week to find your optimal nap time).
