Simple Pacer for Audax

Disclaimer - this started life as a private project for a non-programmer so I can't make any guarantees of its usefulness and can't be responsible for any loos or damage as a result of its use. So, with that out of the way....... Audax is a type of long distance non-competitive cycling event over distances from 50km up to, and occasionally exceeding, 1400km. These events are carried out over a number of stages and are subject to a maximum and minimum permissible speed. As an event progresses a rider will typically build up a time buffer over the minimum which can be used in the event of a mechanical problem, getting lost or on longer events, sleep. This is where this Data Field comes in. The Data Field takes the "Distance to Destination" parameter from the unit and a latest arrival time and average speed is inputted by the user. For an Audax event the minimum speed is typically 15km/h and the arrival time would be the latest permitted arrival time at the destination. The Data Field sets up a virtual pacer who rides to the destination at the minimum speed and arrives at the latest permitted time. The "Time in Hand" field simply shows how long it would take your pacer to overtake you if you were to stop. Of course, you can use the pacer to track progress towards arrival at a particular time.
