Enough

Enough Enough is about what’s already here. We spend a lot of time trying to make ourselves better. We look for better things to own, better habits to follow, even better thoughts to have. It can start to feel as though enjoying life is something we’ll get to once we’ve improved it enough. Enough isn’t a meditation or mindfulness app. It’s about finding out what’s already here, without turning this moment into another improvement project. The app asks you to notice what you’d usually walk past, explore a question you hadn’t thought to ask and to see what’s already here. A familiar walk or a few minutes in a chair can have something valuable in them. The idea is to give this moment a chance before deciding it needs something added. That’s why it’s called Enough. Find a bird. What is it up to? Why do some foods belong to the morning and others don’t? You might smile, notice something you’ve walked past a hundred times, or find yourself thinking about a question later that evening. The app asks you to: • Notice: a small search in the place you’re already in. • Question: something to wonder about. • Walk: take a walk. • Sit: pull up a chair and sit for a while A one-time purchase gives you the complete collection of invitations, with no subscription. There’s something to return to on tomorrow’s walk, next week’s lunch break, or an afternoon with no particular plans. Walk and Sit can be timed or left open, and you can stop whenever you like. If you’d like a daily reminder, choose Morning, Afternoon, Evening or Surprise for a small task during your day. Give an invitation a little time and see where it takes you. You can try another if it doesn’t fit. After three replacements, Enough waits a little before offering more. Everything works on your watch. No account, internet connection, scores or streaks. Everyday is the default selection, but by choosing All in Settings, the app also includes questions that may touch loss, mortality or identity. You can leave any invitation at any time.
