Solar Ring
· v1.0.0
About
A minimalist analogue watch face where the bezel does the work.
Battery Reserve, Solar Intensity, and Daylight Progress are shown as colour-coded segments running around the outside of the dial, green for battery, orange for solar (on solar-equipped models), and blue for how much daylight you've got left.
No numbers to squint at mid-hike, just three glances and you know where you stand.
Clean hour and minute hands in the centre, plus a red second hand with a vintage-gauge counterweight tail for a proper analogue feel, no digital clutter.
Training Status and VO2 Max are shown as plain text above and below the hands, pulled straight from your watch's own daily metrics.
Everything comes from Garmin's own system data (Complications), the same source the native widgets use.
No GPS permission, no location lookups, no setup.
The solar segment only appears on solar-equipped models; the ring adjusts automatically and shows just battery and daylight on other devices.
