About

Shows the difference angle in degrees between Bearing and Heading. If the value is positive you have to turn to the right to be on track with the bearing. If the value is negative, turn to the left. SAILING When you're looking for the windward mark, you know you're on the layline if the angle is -90 (or 90). You can then tack at -100 (or 100) to safely pass the mark.
