- Source selectable: Garmin Weather or OpenWeatherMap
CONFIGURABLE FIELDS
Up to 11 data slots — a top row of three, a header band, a center field, two large stat gauges, a bottom row of three, and a bottom-center field — each picked from 70+ metrics: heart rate, resting HR, steps, floors, distance, calories, active minutes, battery, body battery, stress, SpO2, altitude, pressure, VO2 max, respiration, week number, secondary time zone, sunrise/sunset and next sun/moon events, moon phase, weather condition, location/city, lat-lon, MGRS, and many weather values (temperature, feels-like, humidity, wind, wind direction, cloud cover, visibility, dew point, precipitation, UV, Air Quality).
PROGRESS ARCS
Three round arcs (left, right, bottom). Segmented colored zones for Heart Rate (6 zones), UV index, SpO2 and a day/night Sun arc; simple fills for steps, battery, body battery, stress, calories, floors and more.
THEMES & COLORS
20 ready-made themes, or set your own foreground, icons, background, hours, minutes and arc colors. Tap below the dial to cycle themes.

USING OPENWEATHERMAP (OPTIONAL)
The face works fully on Garmin Weather with zero setup. To use OpenWeatherMap instead:
1. Create a free account at openweathermap.org and copy your key from the "API keys" tab. A new key can take up to ~2 hours to activate.
2. This face uses the One Call API 3.0 for forecast, UV and air-quality data. One Call 3.0 is NOT in the basic free plan — subscribe to the "One Call by Call" plan in your OWM account. It includes 1,000 free calls/day, but OWM requires a payment card on file to enable it.
3. To stay free, open your OWM billing page and set "Calls per day" to 1000 (or lower) so you are never charged. At the default 15-minute refresh the face makes about 96 calls/day — well inside the free tier (interval adjustable 10–60 min).
4. Paste the key into settings ("Your OpenWeatherMap API Key") and set Weather Provider to OpenWeatherMap.
OPENWEATHERMAP LOCATION
Weather is fetched for your current position, so allow the watch's location/GPS. Your coordinates are sent to OpenWeatherMap to load local weather, UV, forecast and Air Quality, and to reverse-geocode your city for the Location field. Until a GPS fix is available, OWM data shows "--" and appears once a position is acquired. Fetching runs in the background on your chosen interval to save battery.
AIR QUALITY (AQI)
The Air Quality field shows the OpenWeatherMap AQI on the 1–5 scale (1 Good, 2 Fair, 3 Moderate, 4 Poor, 5 Very Poor). It needs the OWM key and a location fix, and can be shown on its own or combined with the UV index in a single slot.
If the key is missing, not yet active, or the One Call subscription is not enabled, OWM weather will not load — switch Weather Provider back to Garmin Weather and everything works again. Settings are edited in Garmin Connect / Connect IQ; after saving, the watch briefly reloads the face. Enjoy, and please rate it if you like it.
What's new
1.2.5 - Moon phase (left indicator) — A new "Left indicator" option turns the left slot into a real moon photo with the live phase: a curved-terminator shadow covers the unlit part (faint earthshine on the dark side), computed from the date and auto-flipped for the southern hemisphere.
Sleep Score — A new data field shows your Garmin Sleep Score (0–100), color-coded by quality, available in any field slot.
1.2.0 - Update notes:
Training Status — The header field can now show your current training status (Productive, Recovery, Maintaining, etc.), read directly from the watch.
Weekly Run & Bike Distance — Two new data fields, available in every field slot, showing your total running and cycling distance for the week in km or miles (follows your watch's unit setting).
These use Garmin's built-in metrics via the Complications API, available on Connect IQ System 5 devices with software version 4.2.0 or newer (newer Forerunner, Fenix, Epix, Venu, Vivoactive and similar). On older models the fields simply show "--". No setup needed — nothing to add to glances or widgets.
1.1.6 - Update notes:
Wind direction arrow — A new optional bezel arrow points to the current wind direction, drawn right at the edge of the screen and colored by the Beaufort scale so a glance tells you both where the wind comes from and how strong it is. Source selectable (Garmin or OpenWeatherMap); off by default.
Disable touch — A new setting lets you turn off touch interaction. With it enabled, tapping the screen no longer changes the theme or cycles the center forecast — handy to avoid accidental changes during activities or in a pocket. Off by default, so touch works as before unless you choose otherwise.
1.1. 4 - What's new:
Added a center forecast mode showing the next 3 hours or next 3 days (icon, time/day, temperature) with a vertical precipitation-chance bar for each column.
Hourly forecast uses Garmin Weather; daily works on both Garmin and OpenWeatherMap.
Tap the bottom of the screen to cycle the forecast: Off → Hourly → Daily.
Tap the top of the screen to cycle through color themes.
Also added: optional "Hide seconds", a two-line Date field, and a UV (Garmin) + AQI (OWM) field.
