Sailing

The Sailing application provides you with general information on your trip and some special features. You can create (temporary) logbook entries, mark a "Man over Board" or set an anchor alert. The application is started like any other application by pressing start. When the application is started you can start and stop recording by pressing start. Donations are welcome via Paypal to [email protected] This are the applications features: - Shows current speed in knots - travelled nautical miles - current heading (Direction you are looking at, according to compass sensor) - current bearing (Direction you aret travelling at, calculated from positions) - current GPS location - compass - Race countdowns 10, 5, 4 and 1 minutes can be set - Startline features --- Sail to the boys and mark them by pressing the down button (swipe left on vivoactive) --- Big Countdown is diplayed ------ The countdown color changes in comparison to ETA (Green: arrival in time, Red: to late, Orange: to early) --- Distance and course to startline --- ETA to startline - Man over board view --- direction of MOB (relative to boat) --- GPS location --- distance --- compass - Velocity view --- Current speed in knots --- Speed history as graph --- Max speed in knots --- Average speed in knots --- Average speed in the last 10 seconds in knots --- cycle between an overview and single values (large) with start/enter button - You can set an anchor alert, that will tell you when you leave the current position for more than 0.01 nautical miles - Via menu you can create logbook entries which are not permanent (after stopping the application they are deleted) --- In the menu you can open the logbook to transfer the data to your real logbook - The overview provides three icons that tell you if an MOB situation is active, an anchor alert is set or if logbook entries are created After installing the application to your watch you can start it like any other activity by pressing start, then select "Sailing".
