Steps Leaderboard is a lightweight and easy-to-use Garmin glance that displays real-time step rankings for multiple users. Track your position and compare your activity with others across different time periods, helping you stay active and reach your goals. == Features == - Daily leaderboard - Weekly leaderboard - Monthly leaderboard - All-Time leaderboard - Real-time ranking updates - View your current position instantly - Supports multiple participants - Fast and battery-friendly glance - Clean and easy-to-read interface - Optimized for quick access == Why Use Steps Leaderboard? == - Stay motivated through friendly competition - Challenge friends and family - Monitor long-term activity trends - Encourage healthy daily habits - Quickly check rankings without opening your phone == Leaderboard Calculation == The app tracks steps submitted from your Garmin device and ranks all participants across four time periods: Daily — Shows each participant's step count for today's date, where "today" is determined by your device's local time. A participant in a different timezone appears in your daily leaderboard only if it is already the same calendar date for them locally. At midnight on your device, the daily leaderboard resets and shows you starting fresh at 0 steps. Weekly — Totals the steps accumulated from Monday through Sunday (UTC). Each day's contribution is the highest step reading recorded that day, summed across all days of the current week. Monthly — Same logic as weekly, but across the current calendar month (UTC). All-Time — The cumulative total of each participant's daily peaks since they started using the app. Ranking — Participants are ranked by total steps, highest first. In the event of a tie, ranking is determined alphabetically by nickname, then by device identifier. Each participant has a unique position — no shared ranks. Your position — The leaderboard always shows the top 4 participants plus your own position, even if you are ranked outside the top 4. If you are within the top 4, the full top 5 is shown. Nickname changes — If you update your nickname, your new name is reflected immediately across all leaderboards.
