Speed Limit

CIQ 2019 Developer of the Year! A simple data field that gives a Color indication, continuous vibrate and sound, while over (or under) a set Speed Limit. This data field would replace the built-in alerts, which only alert every 10-15 seconds. If you have a problem installing or for more info, Click the "More" link to expand this description page. Install instructions: This is a data field not an application and needs to be added to a single data screen within a builtin (Run, Bike, Row, etc) application. It is a Datafield, it will not be listed in the apps menu and needs to be added to the builtin APP. From the clock watch face, long press menu button (touchscreen long press screen) “ACTIVITY” is the builtin-in that is desired to be set.(Run, Bike, Row, SUP or Swim) In the main menu select: Settings, Activities &Apps, “ACTIVITY”, “Activity” Settings, Data Screens Select Screen 1, 2, 3 ... : then Set Layout Set Field 1 to ConnectIQ Fields,SpeedLimit Most watches are the same as described above, but there could be small differences. Configuration a.) Set the upper OR lower limit (not both!). This a unit-less speed number (mph or km/h) b.) If you use both limits, do not over lap the values. (i.e high less than low or low greater than high) b.) A value of zero disables limit. Note: Continuous alarming will drain battery.
