Hourly Pace

For those who run Backyard Ultras but like to keep their activity continuous. Shows your average pace for the current 60-minute block of elapsed activity time. Unlike a lap or overall pace field, this resets automatically every 60 minutes of activity time, not clock time, so it always reflects "pace so far this hour"; no manual lap presses needed. The segment includes any paused/rest time within that hour, giving a true average-since-hour-start figure. Displays "--:--" until enough data is available to compute a pace. Automatically shows min/km or min/mile based on your device's unit settings. Field-tested over a continuous 6-hour backyard ultra format activity. New device support policy: New Garmin device releases are assessed for compatibility within 1 month of launch, with support added as soon as the SDK allows.
