ShiChen is a free Garmin watch face inspired by traditional Chinese time. The default design combines twelve Earthly Branch dial markings, a purple-and-red ring, and a black center. The center shows the current traditional time period and its quarter-hour label in Chinese. Each hour progresses through 初刻, 一刻, 二刻 and 三刻, representing four 15-minute intervals. Customize your display: • Set the top and bottom fields independently to digital time, a Chinese time-period description, battery, heart rate, date, steps, or hide either field. • Adjust the size, color and outline of the top, center and bottom text independently. • Choose automatic colors or your own two-color ring; adjust ring width and center color. • Show or hide the dial markings, select light or dark markings, and choose a 12- or 24-hour ring. All features are free. No purchase or activation code is required. Traditional time labels and descriptions are displayed in Chinese. Heart rate and steps depend on data available from your device.
