About
RideByWeather turns the weather at your current location into a single 0–10 ride score so you know — at a glance — whether it's a good time to ride, and how to dress for it.
On your Edge or watch:
• Ride score gauge — a color-coded 0–10 score (green = great, red = rough) built from temperature, wind, gusts, humidity, and precipitation.
• Headwind / tailwind — using your GPS heading and the live wind, shows whether you're fighting a headwind or getting a push, in mph.
• Conditions grid — temperature, feels-like, UV, wind, gusts, and humidity on one screen.
• What to wear — a clothing recommendation tuned to the temperature.
• Bike type — set Road, Gravel, MTB, Commuter, E-bike, Cargo, or Loaded and the score retunes.
• Map — a live map of your area with the score overlaid.
• Nearby — closest restrooms and food stops with distance and direction.
• Record a ride — start a cycling activity that saves to Garmin Connect.

What's new
This update makes the map fill the whole watch screen and load faster. The What to Wear page now covers Running and Walking in addition to Cycling, and shows a clothing avatar image with a Male/Female option you can set in the app settings.
