At a glance you get wave height and period, wind speed and direction, a 24-hour tide graph, air and water temperature, plus the time and date — all pulled from live marine and weather data for your spot. Features: - Wave height & period - Wind speed & compass direction - 24-hour tide graph - Air and water temperature - Metric or Imperial units (meters/km/h/°C or feet/mph/°F), with clock format matched automatically - Adjustable refresh interval Setup: 1. Install the watch face and set it as active. 2. By default, no location is set yet. Press the GPS button on the watch face near your surf spot (you can back out before actually starting an activity) — your coordinates fill in automatically and data starts loading within about 5 minutes. 3. Prefer not to use GPS? Enter your spot's latitude/longitude directly in the app settings instead — no GPS needed. 4. Moved to a new spot? Turn on "Reset Location" in the app settings, then press GPS on the watch face within about a minute — coordinates update within roughly a minute, and surf/tide data for the new spot follows within about 5 more. The toggle stays on until a new fix arrives (that's expected, not stuck), and turns itself back off automatically once it does. If the coordinates in the app settings look stale, try a manual sync in Garmin Connect Mobile. Data: Powered by Open-Meteo's free marine and weather APIs — no account, API key, or sign-up required. Data refreshes automatically (default every 60 minutes; adjustable in settings). Note: Wind/temperature and wave/tide data are fetched separately in the background to stay within Garmin's request limits. After installing or changing location, you may briefly see one before the other — this is expected, and both typically fill in within a few minutes.
