TrailSeeker
· v1.0.4
About
TrailSeeker pulls free, open trail data from OpenStreetMap and loads a chosen trail into your Garmin watch's native course navigation — no subscription.
- Trails near you — pick a focus (MTB, Bike, Hike, Walk, or All) and see named routes near you, nearest first, each showing its length and whether it's a loop or point-to-point.
- Filter to what you want — cap the difficulty (Easy / Moderate / Hard / Extreme, from OpenStreetMap's mtb:scale) so beginners skip the gnarly stuff, and cap the max trail length so you find local loops, not cross-county epics.
- Native navigation — the selected trail downloads as a course and launches in the watch's built-in Follow-Course, so you get the real nav experience.
- Favorites that work offline — saved trails reappear near you even with no signal, and re-riding a downloaded trail needs no connection.
- Your units — distances follow your watch's km/miles setting.
Requires a network connection (via your phone) to search and download trails.
