Tactical Sub-Dial PRO

A tactical, high-contrast watch face for AMOLED watches: a round sub-screen, two horizontal rules, and a data row whose contents you choose. It is drawn as geometry, never as bitmaps. The layout is derived from the size of your screen instead of being pinned to pixel positions, so it lands the same way on every watch it supports rather than being cropped on some of them. Clearance from the round bezel was measured on a worst-case render of every screen size in the range. The background is pure black. On an AMOLED panel a black pixel is a pixel that is switched off, so this face is dark because that is what costs least, not only because that is how it reads best in daylight. WHAT YOU CHOOSE - The sub-screen metric, and the four columns under it: steps, distance, calories, altitude, heart rate, floors climbed, active minutes, ascent, descent, or nothing. - Six accent colours, plus any hex code you type. - Battery at the top, at the bottom, or hidden. - A larger date, if you would rather read the day and month at a glance than keep the weekday. DETAILS THAT ONLY SHOW UP ON THE WRIST - A metric appears in one place only. Pick it for the sub-screen and it leaves the row on its own, and the row re-centres around what is left. - Values size themselves to their slot, so a five-digit step count never runs into its neighbour. - The date is sized for the longest date your watch's language can print, not for today's, so it never shifts or crowds the sub-screen as the calendar moves. - Asleep, the face keeps the date and the time and lets the rest go. That is not a style choice: an AMOLED watch switches its screen off when too much of it stays lit, and this face is measured to stay well inside that limit. Version 1.0.1 - New setting: a larger date. Switch it on and the face shows the day and the month at a bigger size instead of the weekday. - Fixed the always-on view. The face now keeps the date and the time while the watch is asleep and lets the rest go, so it stays inside the lit-pixel limit AMOLED watches enforce. Before this, the screen could switch itself off a few seconds after you lowered your wrist. - New store images.
