The EDGE Radar Speed Overlay data field offers the option of displaying the radar vehicle speed of the approaching vehicle on one of many selectable standard field options. The appearance of the data field is therefore adapted to the respective original Garmin data fields. The data field recognizes whether a radar device is paired and shows the readiness to display the vehicle speed with a small orange dot in the top right corner. Without orange dot - no speed overlay! The radar overlay can be switched off in the settings. Other devices change the field option every 10 seconds. Some options - such as Grade, ETA or Gear Shift for mechanical shifters (only one chainring!) - use their own algorithms and can therefore be used as an alternative to the original field.
