Lap Average Colour Indicator

The number is your lap average speed. The background colour is how fast you are going right now compared to it. Green means you are above your lap average, and the further above, the stronger the green. Amber means you are holding it. Red means you have dropped below it. SETTINGS Three lap choices, in the settings: -Current lap (default) — the average of the lap you are in, so far -Last lap — the average of the lap you just finished -Whole activity — the ride average Deadband — how close to the average counts as amber. Default 3%. Full colour at — the deviation that gets you fully green or fully red. Default 15%. Smoothing — how hard the speed reading is filtered before it is compared. Warm-up — how long on a new lap it takes to build an average baseline. Show decimal — off gives you a whole number and a larger digit. Every setting has a working default, you dont need to change anything before trying it out. WHEN IT GOES GREY For the first 15 seconds and 100 metres of an averaging window, and any time you are stopped or the timer is paused. A NOTE ON AUTO LAP In current-lap and last-lap modes, Auto Lap resets the comparison baseline every time it fires If you run Auto Lap every 5 km, that is what the colour is measured against.
