Simple Walk
· v0.30
About
This may look like a watchface, but it's not. It's an app to record outdoor walks! This was done with a main screen that looks like a watchface, where you still want to have a "watchface" visible, yet do recording.
(if you want a more robust app for walking, see Hike or Hike2, but Simple Walk does much more than a native walking app!)
If you like the app, and want to buy me a cold drink, you can do so by way of https://www.paypal.me/jimm58

The first screen looks like a watchface, with the typical icons, battery and step data, data and time. But it does also show the elapsed time and distance of your walk, as well as your real time HR! There are animated "shoes" to let you know when it's recording (they stop and change color when paused)
By swiping or the up/down buttons there are also 3 more screens
- additional data including Temperature (Tempe required), Pressure (on watches with a baro altimeter), Altitude, Pace, Speed, Calories, and Laps (A-Laps means you are using auto laps! - Default is Auto-Lap each 1 mi or km)
- a chart of your walk, with dots to indicate your start and each lap mark, as well as current location and heading, and floors up or floors down (on devices that do floors)
- "Back to Start" with the direction and distance, your current heading, and current lat/lon
By default, the screen will revert to the main screen after 5 minutes.
Colors, other "Simple" settings, the time to revert, lat/lon format and other things can be changed with "settings" in Garmin Connect Mobile or Garmin Express.
After getting GPS, you'll be told to press start to being recording. Pressing start again, pauses the recording, and gives to the option to resume, save, or discard the recording.
Supports Tempe and Heart Rate Sensors.
