Nightscout Widget

This is an application that displays data from a Nightscout website. Nightscout (Continuous Glucose Monitoring in the Cloud) is an open source, DIY project that allows real time access for people with diabetes to a CGM data via personal website, smartwatch viewers, or apps and widgets available for smartphones (and now Garmin). See here for the full background http://www.nightscout.info/ To get this to work you need to: 1- Have your own working Nightscout website (see link above) 2- Set the sitename and domain in the Garmin connect mobile app on your phone (see below) The app is provided as-is as a goodwill gesture and has no guarantees. Updated to v0.0.8 so that new watch types can have it. To do this open the Garmin Connect App and in the Menu go to Garmin Devices - Choose your watch - Connect iQ Apps - Widgets - Nightscout widget. The sitename is just the first bit of the website address. (for example if your website were "https://jennycgm.herokuapp.com" set the sitename to "jennycgm") The application requires you to have your Garmin device connected to a mobile phone running Garmin Connect, as this provides the internet connection to the NightScout website. The main screen displays -Age of last reading -Last BG -Units (as set in settings) -Change from previous BG -Trend description (sorry no arrows yet) The graph screen displays the last 8 data points (reduced in release 0.1.0). The scale is then adjusted depending on how long a time they span, so if there are a lot of breaks then the number of hours will be high, as in my image. It you have one every 5 mins you will get a 2hr chart. The app displays data pulled only from the specified website and displays it, it does not "do anything" with the data. v0.0.5 - fixes a couple of issues, adds a time to the widget (sorry, Garmin don't seem to allow a data call in a watchface, only an app or a widget) timed the graph out. v0.0.6 minor updates for a vivoactive user. This application comes with all of the use at your own risk warnings that the full nightscout project has. That is, it must not be used to make treatment decisions, and is for information only. For people who like to 0 star apps, when they don't understand them: This is a niche app developed for a niche audience, so if you are thinking of slating it, make sure you are part of the niche audience. Finally, if you are starting the nightscout journey use a Pebble, as the apps are better, but it might affect your decision on which GPS watch.

Added setting in the phone to set the host domain, as lots of people seem to use heroku now. There is a drop down to choose Azure or Heroku in the widget settings on the phone. Note that if you have set the domain as Heroku it might break and you will have to change the settings on your phone and reopen the widget. Hope it works...
