Frankenstein — Halloween Watch Face
· v1.0.0
About
Bring a classic Halloween monster to your wrist. Frankenstein is a watch
face built around a procedurally drawn lab scene: the monster's flat-topped
green face, black hair, heavy brow, stitched scar and metal neck bolts, set
in a dark lab-purple room lit by a crackling lightning bolt. While your watch
is awake, the bolt flashes bright to keep the scene alive.
Over the artwork sits a big, outlined time display, the date, and a compact
stats row showing heart rate, steps, and battery with charge level. Large,
readable typography with dark halos keeps everything legible right over the
scene.
Because the whole scene is drawn with polygons instead of a bitmap, it uses
almost no memory and adapts cleanly to any screen resolution. It looks rich
on AMOLED displays and quantizes correctly on 64-color MIP displays.
On AMOLED devices you also get always-on support: a burn-in-safe low-power
screen with a dim time and date and a small monster-head glyph that jitters
every minute.
Frankenstein is fully offline. There are no settings to fiddle with and no
permissions beyond standard sensors. Since the face shows only numbers, it
works in any locale.
Supported devices: fenix 7 / 7 Pro, epix 2, venu 2 / 2 plus / 3 / 3s,
Forerunner 955 / 965.
